CEED is led by an effective Board of Directors, which collectively ensures delivery of its objects, sets strategic direction, and upholds its values. The supporting principles of the Board of Trustees includes:

CEED is a Company Limited by Guarantee. The Management Committee consists of 5 members, including a Chair, Vice-Chair and Treasurer.
The Management Committee meets bi-monthly or as otherwise requested and unless otherwise determined, (7) five shall be a quorum. The responsibilities of the Committee include formulation of policies, strategic direction.
The Council of Management also delegates some of their powers to sub-committees to undertake specific work. There are 3 Sub-committees within the Management responsible for specific duties as assigned by the Board.
Finance Sub-committee
This Sub-Committee is responsible to the Council of Management. It will consist of at least five (5) members and its quorum will be three (3) the Chair, Vice-Chair or Treasurer will be expected to be a member of this team.
This Sub-committee has responsibility for recommendations to the Management Committee on funding, financial control, financial systems, budgeting, management accounts, banking.
Personnel Sub-Committee
This Sub-Committee is responsible to the Management Committee. It consists of at least five (5) members and its quorum will be three (3) the Chair, or Vice-Chair will be expected to be a member of this team.
This Sub-Committee is responsible for employment, recruitment of staff, disciplinary, dismissal, and all personnel policies and procedures. The Sub-committee meet bi-monthly.
